Community Cohesion & Reconciliation Programme

Community Cohesion & Reconciliation Programme (CCRP)
This project brings together marginalised individuals and groups (from disadvantaged PUL and CNR communities) to explore/discuss a range of shared needs, interests and themes arising in their (generally segregated) communities in the North West and beyond.  CCRP is a programme of planned (as well as responsive) and relevant city-wide inter and intra-community engagement targeting women, families and marginalised constituencies as a means of mitigating against growing tensions/division and undermining of relations – which have ultimately emerged as a result of Brexit, a hardening of positions on all sides and the erosion of the GFA. CCRP empowers a core group of Community Champions to help us build, repair and sustain relationships between different communities in the City and beyond. This project includes a broad range of community cohesion, development and peacebuilding work and is funded under the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade Reconciliation Fund (Strategic Partnership Programme).
